We regularly accept donations of clean, gently used furniture for every room in the house. We’d appreciate furniture, lamps, plants, pictures, lamps, mirrors, decorator items, home and kitchen accessories, full sets of dishes and flatware, good quality bedding and towels, hardcover books and bookshelves. We prescreen and may accept electric appliances which are clean and less than five years old.
ESTATE DONATIONS: At some time in life, most of us face the task of clearing out a loved one's home after a move to an apartment or long-term care, or in the difficult time after a funeral. After the family has selected the items they wish to keep, VINE can send a caring and responsible team of adult volunteers to pick up the saleable itetms for donation to the VINE Home Thrift Store. We will provide a tax receipt and even help inventory the household items.
Estate contributions of any size are gratefully accepted and proceeds from their sale will support programs and services at VINE and the Summit Center.
Call the store at 507-387-2699 to arrange a time for donation drop-off or home pick up. Tax receipt available.
All proceeds will support VINE’s mission of “coordinating volunteers and services to assist people with long-term health needs or difficult life circumstances in Blue Earth and Nicollet Counties.”
